Jaya Guru Datta Appaji! May we all continue to strive to continue serving others no matter what may come our way. May we continue to see the positivity in each situation and god in everyone and everything. Just like the trees that remains grounded no matter what harsh weather conditions they may endure for lengthy periods, yet the trees continue to bear fruit, flowers and share their beauty selflessly with all.
Please continue to guide and give us the courage to be better .
    Sri Guru Datta!

We need strength to be patient, because we have to transform the energy of anger. Give my very best to become stronger and to handle my energies.

Retaliation comes so quickly as a reaction to anything done to us that is displeasing. Yet, you tell us to control that instinct and to practice patience during those moments of irritation and pain, like Mother Earth. We dig, we stomp, we abuse Her in so many different ways, and yet, she remains tolerant and forgiving. The first gesture in Bharata Natyam dance recitals that impresses me is the humble prayer of the dancer offered to Mother Earth to be forgiving of all the stepping on and hard thumping on her divine body. To remember that Earth is our Mother and to treat her lovingly should be a concept that needs to be drilled into our hearts. Like her, to remain patient and always giving, is a habit that needs to be cultivated by us all. As I step out each day, by Guru’s grace I feel blessed with the thought that the Sun is my father, my Soul, and the Earth is my mother, my body. At death, they will both receive me back into themselves. While I live, they both nourish and protect me. JGD

    Jaya Guru Datta
Our earth is so patient. What we all do to her. And still she keeps us and feeds us. Amazing to think that around us there is the huge universe with no air to breath and no plants to feed us.
Sri Swamiji reminds us that we can learn from our earth. And we can learn from Him. He is serving us and He is so patient.
    Sri Guru Datta

Happy Guru Day prostrations at the lotus feet of Our Dattaswaroopa Sadgurudeva in Dallas _/\_!!
    Sadgurudeva’s Discourse, Dallas, Texas, July 06, 2009.
When you sit in the Sadguru boat. The first lesson with Sadguru is patience. Don’t get irritated. There is no time limit for Him. He is ‘Kaalateeta, Kaala Manohara Bhairava Roopa’ that is beyond the time perspective. Sadguru is a silent teacher. He teaches through His actions and gestures. Action itself is Bodhana.
Sadgurudeva’s Discourse at Hindu Temple of Greater Chicago, April 28,1990.
Patience is the greatest penance. In temples, you see that the idols have one palm with fingers downwards. It means, ‘surrender everything! Then, I will help you’. So, if you want spiritual knowledge, you have to wait. There is no short cut..

-Mother Earth is the epitome of tolerance and patience.
-Patience is required to taste the lasting victory of truth.
-Is there anything that cannot be achieved if one is patient? (Nandana SGS MMS)
I will learn and remember all your words Appaji !! Kindly bless me with the mind and ability to serve others and never retaliate !! Patiently awaiting for Appaji’s Darshan !!

Sri Guru Datta !! Om Namo Hanumathe Namah !!
