  1. Dear Appaji,

Nothing is sweeter than your voice, which holds this universe spell bound, nourishing the body, mind & soul. Your Yoga Sangeeta is the fuel that propels progress for spiritual aspirants. In pravachan, bhajan or conversation, your voice is Amrita – Nectar of immortality. We may not know every language you speak.. but each one of us feel the priceless unconditional love in your voice & your smile.

And when you very lovingly encourage us to say On Namo Hanumate Namah, and we follow.. we feel that nectar spring forth deep inside our bosom. What a blissful moment ! We don’t want to let it go away. Om Namo Hanumate Namah !

Nourished by that amrita, we meditate upon you Our Kesari Nandana. We’re never tired of the tests you give & never scared of being born again.. because our every janma is dedicated to your Nama Smarana. Those leaves wither away, only for the tree to refresh itself for your seva.

Pranams Sathguru ! Jaya Guru Datta, Your Puttuji

Jaya Guru Datta, Swamiji, as I contemplate this sacred message, I think of the sound of wind and rain, the roar of a waterfall, or water rushing over rocks, the singing of the birds, the thunder and the crack of lightning, the sound of water rushing over a rock, the purr of a happy cat, the gurgling sounds of a baby….You have taught me that this is Vedanta, that these are the sounds of the Divine at play. Our voices, too, are part of that chorus. You have demonstrated for us the immense healing power of the voice with your bhajans and of sound with the Shata Shloki Ramayana! Help us to understand that our voices, too, are part of that sacred chorus and to use them wisely…

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji… what a wonderful video and a great timing too— we see all the fall colors. Firstly, thanks a lot, this time, for making us repeat the divine mantra after Your Holiness. That itself is a path to salvation. About the nectar in the voice – any amount of explanation is futile as it doesnt suffice to actually describe the power, effect, the divinity and the taste of it. All devotees worldwide, nay, all the humans, nay nay, all the beings are experiencing it through the most modern media and any endorsements are only like showing a flash light to Sun.

Jaya Guru Datta. The MMS encompasses all those who used a word for Prayer to God.The Throat is the seat of voice. Many people attained Sainthood by singing the Name of the Lord. From Hanuman to Tyagaraja,Annamachrya,Thukaram,Meera Bai and so on.All these people choose Lords name to sing applauds.Namasankeertana a form of Bhajan where the Lord:s name is sung without inhibition led the singers to Paramapada.
All those Hanuman, Annamacharya,Tyagaraja,Sant Thukaram all became Immortal. To day we sing their Bhajans.RAMA a two letter word brought all the worlds to the feet of the Person and made him Saint. What VALMIKI uttered is a simple word RAMA,but it brought the Epic Ramayana to mankind. When Saint Tyagaraja sang”NIdhi Chala Sukhama Ramunisannidhi Sukhama” he is preaching all of us that there is no Greater Wealth than the FEET OF RAMA.
To Day His Holiness Sri Ganapathisachchidananda Swamiji is singing”Eedukalada Nee Ku Govinda” he is showing the path to salvation.

I don’t really understand this video. May be, that it will say: the voice of saints contains the nectar of immortality. By saints all is true, the words, the voice, the acts, all. By normal people its not the truth which speak by them. Our deep connection with god we can’t show, because there are much delays of ego. When we speak, then there is ego, not god.

    Jai Guru Datta,
I don´t really understand this, but when I think about it I think this: when there´s a voice there´s a listener. To really listen I become empty in my mind and I open completely to what I listen and I take it in. To listen to The Voice of The Guru is like a sadhana, a meditation. The voice itself comes into the world by vibration alone – it´s immaterial , etheral, like Brihaspathi, the Guru, who represents the element of ether. So to listen to the voice of my beloved Sadguru Sri Ganapathi Sachchidananda Swamiji I get the chance to experience bliss, space, pure conciousness and I enter the realm of Satchitananda – wich may be immortality? Please Sri Swamiji, may your beloved voice reveal this secret to me.
    Sri Guru Datta.

  4. This message reminds me one incident happened to me. once when I met Swamiji I just mumbled something ( I don’t remember what) immediately Swmiji asked me Amma? that word created sweet vibrations in my heart.. When I am writing that incident again I am feeling those sweet vibrations. I felt very happy at that time thinking is this Paramananda? Thank you very much Swamiji.

    Om Namo Hanumathe Namaha!

    Jaya Guru Datta,
I came to think of a great saint: Ramdas. He was a devotee of Hanuman and Lord Rama. He had Darshan of Lord Rama even when he was a boy. Lord Rama Himself initiated him. Ramdas was doing mantra chanting for a very long period – again he had Darshan of Lord Rama. He was a great Bhakta. Ramdas once sprinkled over a dead body holy water uttering the names of Rama and the dead body was restored to life!
Blessed are the once who have a great voice and use it to praise the Lord!

Jai Guru Datta! Oh yes, the voice of our Saint Sadgurudeva contains the nectar of immortality. That is why i cannot listen to anyone else anymore…..Your voice, your smile, your everything contains the nectar of immortality. That is why we cannot let go and we always come like the bees to the flower and try to suck the nectar……Only you….

    • Joseph on November 3, 2012 at 1:00 pm

Thought provoking message…. Words with good intensions work as wound healers. Like doctor’s words act as nectar to a patient due to the confidence patient develops and the intentions of doctor to improve patient’s health condition. Similarly saints practise good thoughts and deeds, so their words will surely have the effect like nectar because of their good intentions with pure heart, always aspiring for others prosperity. May Lord bless us all with a chance to experience this nectar at least once in everyone’s lifetime.

The voice of Sadgurudeva absolutely takes me to a higher level. Just this morning as I cleaned my house I was listening to the Karya Siddhi Hanuman album and I was contemplating on the nectar of Appaji’s voice and the spiritual divine power that his every utterance contains. Any bhajan, mantra, discourse of our Sadguru is way more powerful than if said by anyone else. Everyday I must hear that divine voice. It nourishes, protects, and imparts bliss! Om namo Hanumate namha. Jaya Guru Datta.

    • Kambhoji on November 3, 2012 at 5:01 pm

    Dear Sri Swamiji,
When I read these lines I feel the power of music, a deep longing to travel and to merge with the sounds You sing and play in Your bhajan sessions, concerts, CDs.

I search for coherences, for puzzlepieces to understand Your teaching, it’s not easy for me…
    Voice is sound
    sound is Omkara
Omkara means the beginning of all creation
Music is my religion You said,
Doesn’t re-ligo in Latin mean to reconnect with the source?
When we listen to Your music, to Your voice, this is what happens to us,
we get the gift of drops from heaven, a glimpse of the nectar of immortality…

Has this to do what You want to tell us?
    Yours Kambhoji

Jaya Guru Datta! Is there any mortal in this world who sounds like Sadgurudeva? NO! Not even close. Appaji’s voice is unique and divine. Sometimes I don’t even like to listen to a bhajan CD with Appaji’s compositions when it’s not sung by Appaji Himself. The energy is really different, then. I simply love Your voice, Appaji! It is pure divine nectar, indeed. Sri Guru Datta

Invoking Vagadhishaya is speaking for itself. Your voice is so addictive. It makes so dependent and yet self sufficient. It makes us strong and yet emotional. You heal through your eyes and your voice accentuates the healing effect. Listening to your voice everyday through Nandana MMS project has been so very transforming so far. Am sure, it would heal us all. We are all truly blessed to have been on the receiving end. Yet Appaji, talking anything about Sadgurudeva is undertstated. You are the absolute 🙂 Jaya Guru Datta.

Actually Appaji’s each MMS itself is a nectar for us. According to my experience Puttuji, everday’s MMS is making us to think more and more and thereby our memory power will become more sharp. Not only that we are getting lot of information about the spiritual path. Now in today’s MMS’ Appaji says that ( For saints the voice itself contains the nectar) .  Now here as per my view in Appaji’s every movement it contains nectar. For instance His style of walking,  inHis speech, in His Bhajans  and His healing music. Further now a days we can even note that the Birds naimly Shweta and Bittu are so affectionate with Appaji and they listen and like Appaji’s voice and say( Rama, Rama and Datta, Datta) Even for them they experience His voice contains nectar. The photography and the music are very apt to the MSG ..Here Anjaneya is so sweet to lord Rama and Rama also like that. Therefore in this Kaliyuga we are so fortunate to get our Sadguru and we follow your words and teachings and they are actually a nectar for us.   JGD.

What a striking view ! Our dear Swamiji addressing us, saying OM NAMO HANUMATE NAMAHA
THAT was really a surprise to me !!! and I did repeat, while outside in autumn time my beloved
birch-tree was loosing all its leaves; perhaps taking leave altogether, because it is old and ill.
So what to do? Watch Shri Swamiji, He gave the answer …
I try to understand and accept.
Thank You for this lesson …

I know only one Saint and that is Sri Swamiji. When i am listeneing to Swamijis voice i am asking myself how come that i am so enchanted by His voice, i have no explanation, the only thought i have is, that i feel fully fullfiled and think how beautyfull, how perfect, even when Swamiji speaks, His voice is so soft, so special nobody speaks like Him, So i think ‘ it is God’s voice, that’s why’. Sadguru knows what teaching is appropriate to whom ~ 4 Nov 2012

We are only aware of the ‘past’ of this birth. We neither know the future nor our previous births. Only Sadguru knows every detail of all our lives, past, present and also future. He treats us differently depending on our Samskara (tendencies). As a patient teacher He individually addresses each of us in different ways that is best suited or us. But due to our ignorance and arrogance, we make the mistake of judging our Guru’s actions and also comparing the way treats each one of us. This only causes more doubts and confusion. When we have a Sadguru, we must place complete faith in Him and allow Him and His grace to work on us, without our ignorance and ego acting as blockers. The master if the worlds very well knows what He is doing and does only what’s in our best interest. Let us all place this implicit faith in Him and follow His teaching. The soothing music of Saptashwaroodham is very calming with the visuals in the video. Jaya Guru Datta
