Our behavior :  Very very significant message for me, Appaji!   I need your blessings to always control my behaviors, my anger and my words.  These three have become automatic, spontaneous. It is as if there is another person inside of me that acts without my permission.  I struggle to control him. My habits have become so deep, that I feel like a hypocrite every time I try to control and fail.  The more I try to control, the more I realize how much I have become a slave of my senses.  I am a creature that cannot get out of its comfort zone.  I want to go back and read all your MMS messages, daily, so that I get the courage to shake myself out of my comfort zone and make progress.   Bless me oh Sathguru!  Bless me!  I need your courage to make this change.   Jaya Guru Datta !

Jaya Guru Hanuman, THank you Swamiji for the beaurtiful message…Please bless us with strength to keep ourselves under control. This reminds me of a beautiful speech you gave on May 17, 2012 which I love very much and try to remember when I get out of control…Below is an extract from your speech which provides context to this message….

“It is not good to show off the ego. Even if you are right, and the other person is wrong, do not get into an argument and fight to prove that you are right. Just remain calm. Do not yield to your temper. Keep it under control. One should never hurt another person either verbally or physically. We have no right to do so. We cannot claim to be devotees.

Once a person takes a body and touches the earth, he is only a human being. Rama, Krishna and such were all only human beings and they all remained within the limits of a human being in their behavior. Only God in his invisible form, in his all-pervasive form is divine and can claim to be so. Once having taken a human form, even the greatest one cannot act other than as a human. If you are visible then you are only a human being. You cannot act as if you are superior. We all have to stay within our limits and exercise perfect self-control. On many occasions I could have argued to prove my stand. I did not. It is useless to do so. That has been my experience. It does not benefit anyone. Anger should be kept under control always.

I am giving you advice based on my experience. It is up to you whether you want to follow or not. It is your karma.” – Sri Swamiji

  3. JGDD Appaji..thank You for this beautiful reminder…SGDD

Danke mein GURU für DEINE direkte und klare Aufforderung. Mit DEINER Hilfe wird es mir mehr und mehr gelingen, dieser Aufgabe gerecht zu werden.

Uncontrolled anger destroys every thing. In anger we are neither aware of our behaviour nor about what we converse. May lord bless us all to understand ‘why am i angry?’, then to overcome it and live with peace of mind.
