  1. Oh divine Mother!
The brightness of your face (vadana) is equivalent (sama) to that of the moon (Chandra) in the night (raka). All animate and inanimate (sakala charachara) are your home (ninna mane).
When every being on this universe is your abode, how can we afford to be intolerant & unforgiving towards them?
To forgive, one must have blamed. How can we blame your divinity in whatever circumstance?
To tolerate, one must have resisted acceptance. How can we refuse to accept whatever you bestow upon us?
We are human.. so we must have blamed, must have resisted.. your grace. Which is why we vow to forgive ourselves, and practice tolerance of our own follies. That is when we learn to forgive & tolerate the follies of others.
Thanks a million, Mother, for having blessed us with our Sathguru, who exemplifies forgiveness and tolerance. We are following him. In doing so, we remain open to receive your divine grace, always.
    Jaya Guru Datta! Your Puttuji

Jaya Guru Datta! Patience is the greatest penance. As a child, I was very forgiving, believing that when I forgave someone their behavior would change. How untrue that proved to be! And it made it harder for me to learn to forgive as an adult. Today, you combine patience with forgiveness. Do leopards change their spots? Maybe not, but while we are holding onto to old wounds, those that hurt us aren’t and it is we who are continuing to hurt ourselves by holding a grudge. Wounds often heal slowly and we must be forgiving inside and patient with the healing process. A friend once told me that trust was not believing in the goodness of others and expecting them to always behave in a kind and loving manner, but observing how they act with you and with others and then trusting that their behavior will be the same again in similar circumstances. It was wise advice. It is often unreasonable expectations that set us up for pain. Sri Guru Datta!

Dear Appaji, I am trying to do it, but I am not always sucessful. I will continue my efforts with more intensity, I will improve. Thank you for this important lesson, beloved Sadguru!

    Dear Swami AVADHOOTA
To finish the game of victim and offender, we have to follow YOUR advice and try to practice tolerance and forgiveness. Thank YOU APPAJI to remind us daily, how to live a peaceful and happy life.

Pranam Gurudev! Each MMS is so profound; like a ready made capsule for modern times, rolling prayer, music, advice and guidance in one. Very much like a morning cereal bar for a rushed life. I was wondering if HH Sri Swamiji has plans to publish them as a collection? IMHO, it is akin to a “Musical Gita” for all, especially the youth all over the world. The MMS can be classified into 18 chapters with about 20-25 in each, patterned after the Gita chapters. Alternatively, we could classify it after the famous “ThirukuraL”, into parallel and suitable headings with between 2-5 MMS under each heading. I would deem it a blessing if I can be of service, whenever Sri Swamiji desires to launch this. Jai Guru Datta Sri Guru Datta

A person who is never subjected to the influence of anger or malice?!!!! We see only Lord Rama as an example for this who is an embodiment of forgiveness and forbearance. You are the Lord Rama for us Swamiji. To forget a harm done to us or an injury deliberately inflicted or thrusted on us is a rare trait. It is scarce to come across such people now a days and if found they are divine. Things do not always takes place in this world according to our likes and dislikes. Some times we are ill treated and misunderstood for no fault of ours and persistent thoughts about those finally lead to anger and negative emotions that finally leads to disaster. Contentment provides all the happiness and forgiveness endures enemity. With Your blessings we try to evolve ourselves such that we are free of anger, enemity and covetousness. Jayagurudatta.

JGD Appaji – We are trying our best being tolerant and forgiving others. But the people on the other side taking that easy and treating us very bad but still we are practising that. In the modern life people are respecting those who are hi-fi, dressed well, having modern gadgets, if you are simple they are treating not much – please be with us to pass all these obstacles and give us strength to be strong – SGD

A nice teaching , Appaji has given through today’s MMS. Earlier Appaji says Patience is the greatest penance. Then He says through MMS 280 Celibacy is the greatest penance. Now according to me today’s MMS is more or less linked to these earlier MSG. To practice tolerance and forgiveness is not so easy in this Kaliyuga , since we are attracted more in worldly pleasures and unwanted desires today. Due to this we develop ego, pride and jealous side by side in our life and to see how we are better than other. Naturally we will not get the tolerance and as we’ll as to forgive if any thing goes on wrong at any situation. By this we will only create health problems to us due to stress and tension. Therefore to overcome this we have to follow a spiritual path under the guideline of our Sadguru Whose words and teachings should also follow. By doing so we will be able to control our mind to a great extent. Once we are able to do that, we will get the tolerance and to forgive even at a difficult situation and circumstances. The photography and the Bhajan Raka chandrika are very apt for this MSG as Puttuji you have given a nice explanation on this. This is because in Mother ‘s creations She tolerate and forgive every body , depend up on the situation at one stage. Therefore we as humanbeing in Her creation should practice for tolerance and forgiveness for which it is easy for us through our Sadguru’ words and teachings. JGD.

Jaya Guru Datta! Swamiji is so accepting of everyone that comes to Him. While we humans may judge or get intolerant of the limited number of people we interact with, Swamiji travels the continents and meets various kinds of people: believers, naysayers, the grateful, the ingrates, the people what want to serve, the people that only want to get, people that appreciate with Swamiji does, but more people that are critical of Swamiji due to their own ignorance. Swamiji accepts everyone and loves everyone. If we are to follow in His footsteps, we need to accept and love everyone around us. Thank You for Your comments, Puttuji about seeing the divine in everyone. Swamiji is much a part of me as He is of someone that has never heard or seen Him. By being intolerant and unforgiving, I am wallowing in my own ignorance of the omnipresent divine. I pray to Your Lotus Feet so I can always strive to be loving, giving and forgiving. Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!

    What a lovely MMS . . . . . . the sky in the desert – the beautiful music . . .
and Puttuji`s amazing conclusions about forgiving – must have blamed before,
tolerating – must have refused to accept first

    Jaya Guru Datta,
my beloved Swamiji accepted me the way I am – I am ever thankful for His tolerance.
HE also forgave me – I have no words to describe that relief.
May I remember this every single day and take it as a clear statement when
my own forgiveness and tolerance is necessary.
May Lord Datta help us all on our way.
    Sri Guru Datta

Tolerance and Forgiveness are only possible if we kill our ego. Once we realize the full extent of this creation, and that the creator exists in all His creation, there is no scope for anger or hatred. Need to remember this MMS in all our daily activities.

Tolerance and forgiveness!!!! Tolerating others mistakes and forgiving them for the same is very difficult. This is only because of the differentiation of “Me” and “You”. But being human, all of us do err, but unfortunately others mistake is not tolerated nor forgiven, but our mistake is forgiven completely by us. May lord bless us all to tolerate and forgive others.
