  1. {OM : I am existence; Ikararupa : She who is known by the letter ’I’ – She is the personification of the Ichha Shakthi – The Power of Will – Will to realize one’s true nature}
Sincere worship (devotion, reverence) brings one in communion with his chosen deity. That blissful feeling of togetherness, quietens the mind.. like it happens when the child is in his Mother’s bosom.
Wherever it is, in whatever geography, a still & quiet water surface reflects the true nature of its surroundings. Likewise, wherever it is, in whatever culture, a still & quiet mind is the ideal medium for reflection, which then leads to liberation.. as it happened with Meerabhai, or Saint Thyagaraja.
    Koti Koti Pranams Sathgurudeva!
Many ways of worship you’ve created for us! In your grace, each of us has a way that suits our unique inner nature. As we engage in serving your cause, we only have to practice our daily worship with sincerity. We will.

Today I had to begin with my work after 3 weeks of holiday. It was hard, because I had the impression, I need more free days for resting better. So I began with less motivation. But then I saw, that I have here my work und have to serve with it. I must let go my ego, trust in Swamiji, that I have the strength to work all this. I went into a sencere worshipping, and since then I feel much better.

Jaya Guru Datta! What a wonderful message this morning! It’s so easy for daily prayers and regular practice to become stale. Sometimes we need to step back and really think about our relationship to God and our faith and why we do what we do. While God stays the same, we change and along with the changes in ourselves, comes the ability to see our faith or God through different lenses. Even in our weakest moments of faith, God is there. Sometimes the deepest insights come after our darkest moments. Therefore, it’s important to not give up, but to come to God in the most honest way we can, even if it is to offer our doubts or confusion, Sri Guru Datta!

Sincere worship is being selfless in everything. ..In our prayers and also our actions. Knowing that whatever has happened,is happening and will happen is Your Blessing, and being thankful for that is sincere worship. We are “a work in progress” Appaji.. with Your Blessings we know we will one day reach the peak of sincere worship.

Sri Swamiji is so wonderful in every aspect. The glance He gives us, the movement of His hands, His melodious voice, the amazing sounds when He plays, His great accomplishments and the unspeakable complete and peaceful feeling when we feel Him.
Through Him we see the whole world and our play within with different eyes – seeing mainly Him wherever we guide our look around us or to our inside.
Seeing Him brings us deep humbleness and gratitude that we can witness Him in this world, can learn so much from Him and can enjoy to be.
Pranams to the Divine Lotus Feet of Sadgurudeva.

    Jaya Guru Datta Appaji _/\_!!

    (Source unknown ) :
“True worship is “dharana” — akin to the flow of oil towards the wick of a lamp. Dharana is the process of mind in which one continually thinks of in all waking, sleep, and other states of mind. To live in fear, is to think continually of fear, and thus to worship fear. To live in grace, is to think only of grace, and to worship grace.
To be a good devotee, you only need to have “real” interest, that interest itself will lead to dharana, and that dharana itself is true worship. True worship leads to true results in one’s Sadhana. SatGuru’s grace is continuous, impartial, and ever-present. To attain it, one must be a good receiver. Nothing else is required. Surrender all to that ever-present Lord, and all will be attainable.

Those who say “it is not possible for ME in this lifetime, that is too great an achievement” … remember, you are saying nothing different than “I don’t have faith that my SatGuru can lead me to the goal”.
Half and half efforts only lead to half and half knowledge; and no knowledge is better than half-and-half knowledge. But what is no knowledge? It is a state of not knowing, which again, leads only to the self. So long as you know “something” you will not see the “Self” because that “something” always covers the “Self”.”

Appaji, developing “Thailadhara devotion” as told by Prasad Anna , we will practice sincerely the worship methods You have given us !!

Sri Guru Datta !! Om Namo Hanumathe Namaha !!

I’ve learned from MMSes that prayer is communion with the Almighty. In this communion, the Almighty reveals Himself if we throw open the doors of our heart in complete faith and surrender. Swamiji says that even great sages started off as ordinary men. I am beginning to comprehend that, that journey is possible. The MMSes are teaching us great lessons in Vedanta, in Dharma, in yoga, spirituality, responsible social and moral living, philosophy, tradition etc. For a true seeker, this is a treasure chest of knowledge to attain liberation. I just began listening to Pujya Bala Swamiji’s discourses on Lalita Sahasra Namam and it is forcing some changes in the way I pray. Bala Swamiji says that one needs to feel the joy in the meaning of the prayer. Thank You for encouraging us to pray sincerely. So, when I don’t know the meaning, I try to think of Swamiji or the form of the deity. May every prayer be a sincere ode of faith, love and surrender to the Almighty. Pranams at the Holy Lotus Feet

What a nice MMS, Appaji has given to day to attain liberation through sincere worship. Now according to me here again our mind has got an important role to develop sincere worship( devotion). Therefore basically we have to keep our mind clean with out any pollution ( MMS 192). To keep like that, we have to follow through the spiritual path under the guidelines of our Sadguru. Our Appaji has got various methods to develop a still and quiet mind by way of Pooja , Homa, Bhajans, Healing Music and yoga etc. we can choose any one of these at least and involve , practice the same depend up on your selection , which will definitely help our mind To control, To concentrate, and To get will power. Once we attain these qualities , it is easier to develop sincere worship which will ultimately lead to liberation. Here again I recollect MMS 7 which says that, one who serves parents, elders,Guru, and God will be blessed with knowledge and liberation. That is why Appaji’ is always asking us to pray to God to give First Knowledge, then Health and finally Wealth. The photography is very apt for this MSG since the water surface reflect the true nature of the surroundings. Similarly our mind is the ideal medium for reflecting , which lead to liberation. In this Kaliyuga , we are so fortunate to get our Sadguru and follow Your words and teachings in all respects for our final journey to liberation . JGD.

Desire is the prime motive force for human actions. Any appeal to an ordinary man to give up desire, do the work without longing for the fruits and surrender himself to God will not carry conviction easily. The desire impelled acts are intended to create faith in God and initiate a person into the path of devotion. Gradually, he would himself realise the fleeting nature of worldly pleasures and be inducted to cling to the Lord’s feet and aspire for everlasting bliss by doing nishkamya karmas. Swamiji, You have initiated us and made a beginnig with us by making us to participate into worships like Samishiti homa, Srichakra Archana, Pradhana Homa, Abhisheka Seva , Annadana Seva and so on….Coming to myself these things have brought a change in me. Though I do not do elaborately any pooja every day, but no day passes without the recitation of Datta Stava and Chalisa. The seeds of devotion are sown in us by You Appaji. You are the only refuge for us.JGD

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji – yet another rare MMS where the message is with Appaji’s video and audio both. That sincere worship leads to liberation is narrated in scriptural anecdotes, but it gives us more detail when it comes from our Lord. As it is stated by Sage Vasishtha the mind needs the two wings of karma and gnana to fly out into the self – each dependent on the other. The good karma, like the sincere worship leads us to the right knowledge/wisdom thus leading to liberation. Thanks a lot Appaji for this beautiful video.

Our humble prostrations at the lotus feet of our Sadguru.

Sincere devotion means loving and serving God or Guru without expecting anything in return. Guru knows what is best for us and when our devotion becomes sincere, He will take care of our needs. Once we get a taste of the pure bliss obtained through sincere devotion we won’t need anything in this world. And only a Guru can give us a taste of liberation. Jai Guru Datta.

JGD. May we sincere in all actions and relationships. JGD.

  4. JGD! there is a prayer which I love… It begins thus….
” God, Lord, make of my life a prayer!”…

I will add, ” God, make of my life a wordship unto YOU!”
If I sin, please make it a Good sin, that being, something which will serve YOU and YOUr mission, NOT mine… (ps. i see that I made afreaudian slip and typed wordship instead of worship! ) Sri Swamiji, please bless this notion!
