  1. {Fear: Apprehension, Unease, Anxiety} {Sin: Adharma}

Are we okay doing what we do, when we’re alone? Will we do the same things in front of those whom we love & respect? Do we hear that little voice inside constantly telling us what to do & not to do? When we don’t listen does that inner warning get louder & fearsome?

Anything that we do which that inner watchman will not accept is Sin. Because it goes against the way we’re programmed. We’re not talking of corrupt programming or corrupt hard disks here. We assume the system is sane.

Koti Pranams Hrydayavasa Shivaswaroopa Sadgurudeva ! In spotless white and smiling in the backdrop of fire, you remind us of your Agni Puja. Life has much smaller flame tests for us. Thanks a million for letting us know the secret of passing them. We will never do anything you will not approve of. In that sinless fearless state of mind, that red hot flame feels cool blue to pass through. Jaya Guru Datta, Your Puttuji

As I see this video, Swamiji, I pray for the person who stole from my home this year. I pray that she will become a better role model as a mother, that she will make restitution and admit her wrong and come into the light… Swamiji sees every action, whether done alone or in front of others. Swamiji knows….God knows…karma is real….it comes now or later…better to make things right in the present and to change before it’s too late…..

    • Savitri on November 5, 2012 at 9:03 am

I think, the actions of people are guided by fears. because we have fears, we make things, that we become the feeling, that we are secure. But it’s illusion. We only can be secure, when we understand who we are. And then, when we understand, our actions are nomore guided from fears. As long we don’t live in harmony with god we are sinners and we have fear. Only our understanding helps us, to live in harmony with god, then we are no more sinners and we have no more fears.

JGD. A lay man”s writtings, that what the comments of mine appear to me.HE is saying I am Kalapurusha,I am Lord Shiva, and I am the Agni that burn your sins. This MMS of Appaji awakens me to the reality taht I am In the Service of KALAPURUSHA,he decides the path and destiny of all.He is the GURU,there is nothing beyond HIM,Every thing is In HIM.When ever the devotee has a sinful thought the GURU cautions him that is veering away from the path of Dharma. When the step wavers away from the path there are the Angles of Fire with their mouth open ready to consume everything that comes in their way.
It appears to me there are the Sinners and Learners who flock to the GURU.The Learner or seeker has always a Question, the Sinner always has a Prayer to condon. At the feet of Guru both stand and the Fire consumes both of them. The seeker comes bright like Gold, and the sinner comes out chastend.

Jaya Guru Datta. This MMS reminds me of multiple things – that is possible only to Appaji. One, of course, is Agni Puja. The other is the discourse piece where Appaji said, those who lie should remember a lot of things, so as to tell the same lie to the same person. in Telugu we do have an adage – “అడుసు తొక్కనేల కాలు కడుగనేల? ” – similarly, why to sin and why to fear? Lets all be the good children of Appaji in the most righteous path and praying to His Lotus Feet to give that sadbuddhi to all – Jayaho Appaji

Jaya Guru Datta! Dear Appaji, I’m so grateful to You for showing me the concept of dharma so that I can prevent to commit new sins and I can burn away the old ones. I’m convinced that You have done this even before I met You physically for the first time in this life. Such is Your grace! I pray that all of humanity, all my brothers and sisters, follow dharma. But for sure I will start improving myself with Your guidance.

  4. Jaya Guru Datta. I grew up with a very strict Iranian father and I was not allowed to date even in my 20’s or do things most American kids took for granted. I told lies and snuck around and yes, I lived in fear of being caught. There is a wonderful freedom that comes with being a truthful person and having nothing to hide. In reality You are my father and my mother and know everything I do and even what is in my heart. There is no possible way to lie to my Divine Mother/Father/Satguru. Somehow you love me even with all of my flaws. I pray to follow You with 100 percent pure devotion so that I may not only live truthfully but become Truth, like You my beloved Mother. Sri Guru Datta.

Since I became your disciple, many changes have taken place in the way I think and act. Before my mind had many sinful tendencies which I sometimes acted upon. Then, I was always on the defensive, looking for threats, real or imagined. Now that You dwell in my heart, I try to act in dharma because I know You are watching me. Strangely, now I feel no fear. I am stronger and kinder and fear no one, because how can I be afraid when I act intro rom truth, love and justice? Who can be afraid when YOU are there to protect? I also notice evil people seem timid around me. They avoid me, become quiet or simply leave. If I must speak with them they become meek, because I always remember You before an encounter. Also I deal with them from the heart which is a true position of strength, as taught by You, my beloved precious Sadgurudeva. When the Hurricane came I was not afraid because I knew You would protect. Thank you for freeing me of fear! Om namo Hanumate namaha. Jaya guru Datta.

Agni and Lord Shiva, both represent annihilation. Sadgurudeva who is the form of Lord Shiva annihilates all our sins when we put efforts to give up our negativity. Also, Agni reminds, that the fire of knowledge can burn out all our negative qualities (sins) and make us pure. The song and the music helps the mind to calm down and focus on positive things to learn, practice and grow into pure beings in life. JGD

    Jaya Guru Datta,
God’s law is based on divine standards. It requires man to be the moral “image” of God. Each of us has problems with sin. Sin is not juts disobedience to God leading to an evil act or the abmission of a good deed. It begins with “evil thoughts” from a “evil heart”.
Every sinner is a slave of satan. “When tempted, no one should say, ‘God is tempting me’. For God cannot be tempted by evil, nor does He tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away. Then after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death (James 1:13-15).

May Lord Shiva help us to have a life free from sins – so we not have a life in fear.

    Om Namah Shivaya

According to me, Appaji’s each day’s MMS is a lesson for us which is very useful for our spiritual path. In today’s MMS Appaji says(Sinners are always in fear). This has got a deep inner meaning if you think about it Puttuji. This is being Kaliyuga in today’s world most of the people have got an Arguement nature when we discuss about any subject or any thing similar to that. They will always try to establish that their point is correct even though their inner conscience says it wrong or it is a sin depend upon the situation. Due to this on the other side they will have a fear also. To overcome this we have to develop the spiritual path also.Forthis we need a master like how a teacher is building up a carrier of a student. Here I even remember Appaji words saying that in today’s world all children are very bright only but at the same time the way in which we brought them and that is very important. Therefore if we develop our spiritual  path then our children also follow inthe same way which will lead them not to make a mistake or a sin  to certain extent. Naturally it will reduce their fear alsoandcan come up in their life. The photography is so nice wherein Appaji is in white dress which indicate a pure mind . Here Appaji wantus like thatand thereby our mind will notbe polluted for un wanted desires. Otherwise we may likely to do a sin or a mistake. Therefore Appaji you have opened our mind and we will folllow your teachings and will not do anything which you may not approve.   JGD.

I don’t know if there is any worse hell than living in temptation to do what I know is wrong but am too weak to resist, the guilt of knowingly committing sin, the fear of getting caught and suffering shame, and the remorse of having hurt another and soiling my own conscience forever. Living with guilt is the worst punishment in itself. The only thing in my experience that will remove it is to own up to the mistakes fully and openly before Guru who resides within my own heart, to come clean before him and be ready for whatever he decides to grant me, be it further punishment or forgiveness. After much thought I arrived at the conclusion that had God not made me do wrong, I would never understand the agony of fear, guilt or the remorse of others. I would feel superior to them and be insensitive to their pain. The experience of anger, temptation, weakness, sin, guilt, fear, remorse and shame have made me a better human being, more tolerant, forgiving, and empathetic. Jaya Guru Datta

Only due to Appaji’s Divine presence in our lives we are able to understand the mistakes, faults and blunders we have commiteed so far. Now whenever our inner enemies act up a siren goes off in our minds warning and cautioning us…We have become better people only because of Appaji, His divine presence, His music and being in His seva.

This statement gives this devotee a measuring stick for the level of sins I carry. If I experience little fear moving through life, it should mean that there is not as much sin. I used to have much fear. While hidden as such, it was there. Since Sri Swamiji has found this sinner, fear is no longer a motivating factor in my life. I am grateful for your constant presence, Appaji. You say and show abhaya. I believe you. Jaya Guru Datta

Jaya Guru Datta! Truly, Lord Siva is the destroyer, of our sins, of our fears, of our vices. Our inner voice is a manifestation of our Sathguru. When we suppress the inner voice, we are bound to feel guilty after. Unless we address, repent and resolve the guilt, it’ll hound us. That is what I think is the source of fear. The Guru Gita says that Siva is Guru and Guru is Siva. The visuals in this message are very illustrative of the message. Perhaps the flaming red fire awaits sinners in hell as heard in many mythological stories. But, we have our Sathguru, Lord Siva in pure white robes to pick us up along the way and help us get rid of our sins. Lord Siva is said to show His fierce form to the demons before slaying them. The red flames remind me of the ferocity of Lord Siva. After slaying the demons, the fire turns a cool blue as Lord Siva cools off. At that time, the real lessons in spirituality start. Our Sathguru’s tough love and lessons may seem like the red flames of fire, but they do burn the demons in us. Once the demons burn, we will ready to learn the lessons that He imparts. Please bless us with the buddhi to never suppress the inner voice, Sathgurudeva! May be never do things You wouldn’t approve. Obeisance to the Holy Lotus Feet!

Committing sin consciously, always make a person guilty and complexed subconsciously. This makes one to feel unsecured. One can cheat and commit sin but cannot stand in front of mirror know as ‘self consciousness’. Though difficult to follow, righteousness and truth makes us strong and live with peace of mind. May lord save us all from committing sin and bless us with righteous thoughts to follow them.

If we all listened to our inner voice, our conscience, we would not need any rules or regulations.
Everyone would act according to how the heart feels.

But sometimes we listen, sometimes not. If not, it`s very often the mental noise that makes us
believe of everything else than heart`s truth.
Then we are getting uneasy, strained and full of fear and doubts !
How to move back to dharmic feeling and consciousness? To me it`s always stillness and
relaxation, focussing on the well being for all, not only for me.
To me anxiety is the wrong “general” to walk in front, In Christianity hell is the vision of this “general”.

So, I hope we will all reach a joyful vision without fear, as this video shows, but with faith and trust in God.
Even small children have an innate sense of justice, right or wrong, by intuition.
One need not tell them, they have ! So we can trust in our good nature and rely on our inner voice.

    Nectar of immortality – 3 Nov 2012

We have grown up listening to the divine voice of Appaji in thousands of Bhajans. The wonderful blissful feeling while listening to the bhajans and singing along with Him is indescribable. It makes us forget this world and we are submerged in the joy of Nama Sankeertana – this is truly the nectar of immortality. Listening to Sri Bala Swamiji’s Ramayana narration during this year’s Chaturmasya Vrata had a similar effect. Appaji has initiated us all into chanting the great Hanumad Mantra – ‘Om Namo Hanumate Namah’. Listening to this mantra in Appaji’s voice fills us all with so much energy and joy that it makes us want to follow Him. Lets us all join our voices with Sri Swamiji’s in chanting the name of God and drown in the bliss of listening to His voice. Jaya Guru Datta
