  1. {Virtue: Moral excellence; Goodness; Righteousness; Conformity to ethics; uprightness; rectitude}
Parashurama – the 6th avatara of Vishnu, is an apt example of the power of virtue. He is seen as the immortal Chiranjeevi. He has seen through all Vishnu avataras that came after him by virtue of his severe penance, which pleased Shiva to gift him his axe.
    Oh dear Brahma, our creator!
When we pray to you we respect the capacity to create.. because that is the greatest blessing one can ever have. The capacity to create health is true health. The capacity to create wealth is true wealth. The capacity to generate happiness is true happiness.
Virtues sustain our capacity to create. Sins take that away. So, virtues are our true wealth.
We thank you a ton, for having blessed us with our Sathguru, who has taught us Anagha Puja, which bestows all virtues upon us. We will practice His teachings, in pursuit of our fulfilment.
    Jaya Guru Datta! Your Puttuji

Jaya Guru Datta! Thank you for this reminder of the power of virtue in a society that scorns virtue and instead honors greed and dishonesty and being promiscuous. Some truths never change. Thank you for guiding us on the correct path. Sri Guru Datta!

Today I feel so much the love from my dear Swamiji. it is that which helps me to be virtue. I don’t want, that Swamiji must see bad things when He is looking to me. I also don’t want ashame Swamiji because my life isn’t good. I pray, that I can live a good life and Swamiji will be happy about me!

Jaya Guru Datta Appaji – virtues are verily the real assets/riches. The appropriate music about Anagha Vratam reminds us all the domestic form of the Lord and the merits of that. If we are steadfast in Your Holiness – there is no agha (vice/sin) and thus we are all sinless accumulating virtues – which is the real riches. Thanks a lot Appaji for encouraging all of us to be virtuous. Jayaho Appaji

    • lilashah on February 28, 2013 at 12:17 pm

Jaya Guru Datta. I am so grateful for any virtue which is only due to the grace of Sri Swamiji. It is this association with Him that has made me rich. Everything in this world fades away except for the Self which is Swamiji/God. This is the real riches. I love you Mother Swamiji, Creator and Bestower of all virtue. Sri Guru Datta

    Jaya Guru Datta
Sri Swamiji tells us about the importance of virtues like following Dharma. He explains them to us in an understandable way. His advices are easy to integrate into our life. Practicing them creates so much benefit for everybody! It is like multiplying positive numbers. The result will be in most cases much bigger compared to the numbers started with.

  3. In the MMS I hear Anagha! What a perfect Virtue is freedom from Jeaoiusy! a true model for humankind! What a virtue is anugha!
another wword i hear Bhakti! What a grand Virtue Bhakti is! It in itself, can send you to the Divine, your love, to collide , Light to Light, in a more magnanimous light show than the Northern Lights!
Now, Faith, a Virtue, which is sometimes given to a being by the Lord, i guess at Birth or whenever, is a most important Virtue… Faith or as it is termed Shraddha i believe in the Hindu, can carryyou throughthe most torrential rains, even those rains, when you are lost from the sight of Guru! Jaya Guru Datta. As human beings, all that we leave behind at the end of life is our good name. I thank Appaji for keeping me on the straight and narrow path, as enunciated by my late father. If material riches come, it would only be as a result of God’s grace if deserved.

Appaji has pointed out through today’s MMS the importance of Anagha puja, which bestows all virtues up on us. The Bhajan is also based on that and it is apt to this MSG. In this Kaliyuga it is not so easy to earn virtue, since people are attracted more in worldly pleasures and unwanted desires. In this connection here I recollect MMS 260 wherein it says the ornament of virtue is renunciation and not ostentation .From this we note that to earn virtue we should have the sacrificing mentality to do good deeds, to do any good kind of seva etc. Here our mind also has got a role in it. In otherwords we should be able to tune our mind in such a way and thereby to do good Sevas . Therefore to tune or control our mind we need the help of our Sadguru, Whose words and teachings , to follow strictly and develop our spiritual path. By doing so our mind will also become pure and clean. Naturally as per MMS 232 , by praying God, once we get knowledge , health and wealth, we will have the capacity to do good Sevas , to develop sathsang , and to involve in puja and homa. If we practice like that we can acquire virtues , which is real wealth or rich. Puttuji you have given a good explanation about Parasurama and Lord Brahma Who is the creator. Thank You Appaji to remind us timely in this Kaliyuga to earn virtues only by participating in puja, homa and do good Sevas and accordingly we follow You. JGD.

Jaya Guru Datta! What is the purpose of riches? Happiness. Peaceof mind. Ability to share and give. These are outcomes not from having wealth, but from being virtuous. He who cannot share or give is really poor. As Swamiji said in an earlier MMS, the lack of good qualities is real poverty. Great souls treat the rich and the poor alike said another MMS. As a Datta family member, I hope I can be rich in virtues regardless of material riches. Sri Swamiji’s parents and forefathers were all givers. Sri Swamiji’s father, Sri Narahari Teertha Swamy, didn’t have much wealth, yet he gave. He kept giving away most of what he earned. He was truly wealthy. Thank You for this wonderful lesson, Swamiji. Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!

Hinduism insists on virtue and righteousness that makes man’s life happy. The present day turmoil and confusion arise because rules if followed would make us contended, have been ignored in the wake of advancement in various fields.Lord Rama who upheld the law of virtue in the wake of challenges, never deviated from ideals and had demonstrated how every one could observe the law of virtue and proved that virtue is the real wealth and it gives the moral strength. If everybody adopts this law of virtue in their lives, people obtain peace and bliss. The world will become a better place to live.Jayagurudatta.

    JGD Appaji
Appaji is the embodiment of all virtues. I feel following Him completely is the biggest virtue. For that one virtue encompasses everything else. Appaji, let our faith be so strong and our seva become completely selfless so that one day we know the true meaning of following.. total surrender.

    • Joseph on May 14, 2013 at 9:58 am

Short and sweet message. It’s only virtues that follow us, gives us the identity and makes us humans. May lord always bless with virtues and lead a righteous life.
