  1. {Salvation : Redemption from penalties of having committed sin} {Worship : Formal expression of religious adoration; rites, prayers.. Dandalu pettei, Pujalu chesedi, Namambu palukedi}
We commit sin when we deviate from righteousness.. value the ends more than the means, don’t recognize the divinity in each other & treat others without love & respect.
One cannot think himself out of a situation (sin) that he has acted himself into. He has to act himself out of it. This is where Worship comes in.
Worship is when we learn to adore, love & treat our divine deity with respect. From there, we learn to see the same divinity in people around us. Such change in behaviour heals the guilt of past sin.. Like how sinner Ratnakar was redeemed by chanting Rama Nama.
    Pranams Ganapathiroopa Sathgurudeva!
In your infinite compassion, you’ve taught us several ways of worship, because you want each of us to experience salvation. We follow you. Jaya Guru Datta. Your Puttuji

    Dear Swami AVADHOTTA
To praise YOU and the nature is one thing i love to do, when my heart is filled with love but if my focus is on some other objects or some one is hiding me, it is really difficult to remind me and take a step out of anger.

Jaya Guru Datta! Puttugam writes this morning– “One cannot think himself out of a situation (sin) that he has acted himself into. He has to act himself out of it. This is where Worship comes in” —What a wonderful thought! I have been thinking about that truth all morning. It’ easy to brood over past problems/sins, etc. But the only way to move forward is to move….to act…If we have done something wrong, what we do right in the next moment isn’t any less valuable. We have a choice in each second to act differently,to heal…whatever we have done wrong, we must forgive ourselves and remember each day is a new day in which we can act differently, hoping in the end that the good we do will outweigh the bad. Sri Guru Datta!

    Jaya Guru Datta,
worship is something very holy. May it be in a catholic church with camphor, incense and candle light or may it be in the Ashrama.
As I understand, the worship is an act of devotion. Love and Bhakti shall be invoked as much as possible. Worshiping murtis, performing puja, taking Aarati blessing, having Darshan of our beloved Sadgurudevadatta, Homa, taking Prasadam and singing Bhajans and praying – these are all holly acts that connect us with God.
Thank you Puttuji – You made me think today of different ways to praise You!
    Sri Guru Datta

Jaya Guru Datta! I love this bhajan. It sums up in very simple words the relationship between man and God. It is our duty to worship God. God will play His part by blessing us. Instead of complicating the nature of the relationship, this bhajan simply asks us to worship God. Truly Puttuji, Sri Swamiji advocates many kinds of devotion. We can pick the path that we like the most. Datta Sathguru is probably the most liberal and easiest deity to please, but He also teaches us different forms of worship for us to experience the communion with the divine. Watching Sri Swamiji perform Pujas is very elevating. Worshiping the Lotus Feet of our Datta Sathguru is the most fulfilling worship. For, those Lotus Feet are the origin of all knowledge and life. Pranams at the Holy Lotus Feet!

Jai Guru Datta Appaji! Yet another MMS masterpiece with the soulful bhajan in the background.

When we are about to commit a sin, our Guilt Conscience reminds us not to do it always! But if we don’t pay heed and still commit a sin, our Guilt Conscience punishes us immediately by increasing our blood pressure etc.
We understand that it is the Divine guidance that takes the form of Strong Guilt Conscience within that is always helping us stay on the path of Sat-Chit-Ananda!

We are very grateful that you are transforming us through your Heart to Heart messages and these wonderful MMS teachings! We will have your name on our tongues always and make sincere attempts to recognize you in everyone around us. Sri Guru Datta!

    • Venkat on January 4, 2013 at 4:03 pm

Jaya Guru Datta. I vividly remember the bhakti sutra explanation Appaji gave some year ago. Even among the various paths to salvation devotion and surrender come on the top. That devotion expressed as a prayer with heart (not intellect/mind) shall have the Lord of our hearts answer the prayers and give us His darshan. The video is also wonderful. Thank You Appaji

    Jaya Guru Datta
    Om Arka Ganapataye Namah
i like this MMS very much. It is very playful and illustrates the saying wonderfully. With the celestial aeroplane Pushpaka we are reminded at the Shatasloki Ramayana. There Rama is performing several acts of worship. Thus Valmiki told us that Rama became very dear to Brahma by these good deeds. He gives us a great example.
    Sri Guru Datta
    Om Namo Hanumate Namah
    Om Sakti Ganapataye Namah

  3. Jaya Guru Datta. Dearest Mother Sri Swamiji, please show me the proper way to worship you. I love you so very much but I am ignorant about such things. I get so nervous when I do Hindu poojas and especially the parts where I have to say the Sanskrit words. Please forgive me. Sri Guru Datta.

Today, through this MMS , Appaji has given the importance of Puja. Here I recollect, Appaji’s words saying that the Bhajan in this MMS is one of the old, simple and powerful on Lord Datta and which is very famous also. I even remember Appaji’ used to say that when ever He goes to Andhra, devotees request to sing this Bhajan , since it is very powerful with deep inner meaning. Pujalu Chesdi….. It is our duty to do puja and Datta , You give the Punya to us. Similarly Guru Dattu Chesdi….. It is our duty to worship and pray You and please give Dharsan to us. What a beautiful bhajan this and both photography are very apt to the MSG. According to me even by singing this Bhajan , we will start to worship the God with full respects and that itself lead us to the spiritual path and get salvation. Further about puja, we know how much importance, Appaji is giving by seeing the daily Sri Chakra puja and the Ganapathy Homa in our Ashrama.Thereforeonce we start seeing these , we will get good concentration and able to control our mind also. In otherwords Appaji is teaching us the importance of worship and it is our duty to practice worshipping God and to get finally the salvation through that. JGD.

Among the doubts entertained by sceptics about Hindu religious tradition, one relates to the significance of idols worshiped in temples and homes. Does God reside is their question. In earlier eras, God presented Himself even physically before His devotees or made them experience His greatness indirectly. But in the present age, he answers the sincere prayer of man through images and Srisadguru. Saints like Sriswamiji have sung in praise of the consecrated idols and have proved how He responds to the submission made by them.In this age when problems, ignorance, falsehood and other evil forces abound, ready to confront a person, God alone can provide worship relief of idols.Saints like Sreeswamiji had a vision of the form of God in their Tapas, wrote and sung hymns adoring the beauty of God and consectated the idols according to scriptural texts on Sculpture. JGD.

Absolutely true, only worship and prayers can help us towards spirituality. Prayers keeps us strong from within that makes us to composed, without any effects of duality. May lord bless us all to lead life towards spirituality and attain salvation, amen.
