  1. Tripuramba rules the 3 worlds – our gross, subtle & supreme consciousness. She binds (Kīlita) the entire earth (Samabhuvanam) with her true dharmic principles (Tātvika). She does it so well, those who violate them are eliminated.. in the interest of the offender & society at large. Why violate the Mother’s Code of Conduct?
We know what She did to Mahishasura, who intoxicated by his EGO – his Lower Nature – violated Higher Dharmic Principles.
When Gajendra possessed by his Lower Nature, fought Makara the crocodile for 1000 Years, he only lost all his energy. Helpless at last, he raised a Lotus to the Supreme Narayana & was liberated immediately.
Pranams Gurudeva ! Like the dharma of the river is to flow towards its true higher nature- the ocean (you’re pointing there), we’ll rise above our EGO’s & progress to realize our Higher consciousness. For, if we don’t live that dharmic life, we stagnate & dry up in despondency (MMS 87) Jaya Guru Datta, Your Puttuji.

Jaya Guru Datta, Swamiji! As I contemplated this message, I remembered how many conversations I have had with devotees over the years in which they mention that the fact that Swamiji knows what we are thinking, feeling or doing makes them uncomfortable. There are things that they just don’t want Swamiji to see. It’s hard to explain to those who haven’t experienced it that the more you are “truthful” with Swamiji about who you are and allow yourself to reveal those hidden places, the greater the opportunity for spiritual growth and for being moved in the direction of leading a more dharmic life. It took awhile to learn that there isn’t any emotion or part of myself that can’t be shared. Even if one is angry with Swamiji or confused by Swamiji, or suffering from doubts, it’s good to bring this truth to Him inwardly. Thank you for this reminder that it is in honesty that we grow and come into balance.

JGD.The MMS gives the evergreen message. The video shows flowing water. There is a saying in Telugu” says Neeru Pallamu Yerugu Nizmu Demudu Yerugu”, meaning Water flows downwards, and GOD knows the Truth.
Here Appaji says that Truth is Mother of Dharma or Dharma is Born out of Truth.Puranas say that Dharma in the form of a COW walks on only one Leg.In the early yoga the Cow used to walk on all the 4 legs.
In the Kali Yuga the Very word TRUTH lost its meaning.Truth is a Relic seen in Museums. The Manifestation of Avathara takes place in such times only.In Mahabharatha Lord Krishna says that Lord takes an Avathara to protect Dharma.

Jai Guru Datta! Dharma is not man-made, it is coming directly from God. As we all want to be close to God our Sadguru, we have to follow Dharma to the letter. When we apply Thruth, we will become Truth. Easy to say, not always so easy to do. But there is no other way. And when we fall, when we fail, we get up and try again.

Truth is One. Non-duality. Pure consciousness. Bliss of simply being. Formless, attribute-less, nameless. Dharma is treating everyone equally as if only one exists. That one has become many for entertaining itself. Perhaps it is like a child playing, assuming different roles herself. One moment she is the mother putting her baby to sleep, and the next moment she is the teacher giving lessons to the pupils in her make-believe classroom. Then she is herself the child, sleeping on the doll’s lap and herself the pupil scratching her head that she does not know the lesson. So many situations, conflicts, needs, helpful and loving gestures are enacted – all a part of the play. Is anyone really getting hurt in the play, although the baby cries and the teacher punishes? No. The entire imitation of life is enacted by just one child who beats the child and cajoles her as well and does it all in good will, with no malice or anger. Perhaps that is dharma to just act as the situation requires.

Dharma is very old. Wise men have studies, was in the world is a good way and was isn’t a good way. A way is good, when it is for all people helpful, for the world as a whole. They found some laws. These laws are valid for all people in all the times.

Jaya Guru Datta. This is yet another synthesis of previous MMS’. It is so very clear that Sat and Dharma go together. Also, it is very important to have that fact etched in our mind and that is the reason Appaji is pointing to the Dharmic nature and righteous living of devotees in many of the MMS’. The internatlization of Dharmic living comes from the truth – the practice of truth – not just in speech, in the attitude, behavior and finally – in the nature – the sattvic nature, which resembles the satya in us is primarily important for us to continue the living in Dharma. Thanks a lot Appaji for the continuous reminders.

In the Mahabaharata Sri Krishna defines dharma as: “Dhaaranaad dharma ity aahur dharmena vidhrtaah prajaah Yat syaad dhaarana sanyuktam sa dharma iti nishchayah”

“Dharma upholds both this-worldly and other-worldly affairs” (Mbh 8.69.58)

    Jai Guru Datta.
Our Sadguru is a living example of the greatness of Truth by observing Dharma . He is doing this for our sake. He has created many avenues to occupy us to ensure we follow Dharma and to be truthful. We can all attest to the experiences we get when we serve our Sadguru by observing truth. May our Appaji bless us to live a dharmic life. Jai Guru Datta.

Jaya Guru Datta! What a wonderful way to teach us also with symbols and images. Thank you also to Puttu Gam for explaining things which I didn’t grasp when watching the video. Dharma is so important to me and humanity. Shatashloki Ramayana shows this to us. It is a constant reminder to follow the cosmic rules. Recently, I started being more conscious about this and trying to overcome adharmic thoughts and doing whenever they crop up. Thank you Appaji, for being like the mother who teaches us not to touch the hot plate. Sri Guru Datta!

When Truth is not followed it gives us a bad inner feeling. We may suppress this feeling or simply disregard it. If we connect to our inner Self however we will see that all the instances in our life where we did not follow Truth are recorded and want to be recognized. Sri Swamiji leads us on this path to the intense shining light of Truth.

Knowing the truth that everything born will perish is dharma. What we do, how we behave from our birth till death is based on a Sadguru being in our life and how we surrender to Him. We are so blessed and lucky to have Appaji, lets surrender to Him completely..lets learn selfelss seva and soar freely with our hearts full of love and devotion.

JGD Appaji. Water flows down, following the principle of gravity. In case water chooses to flow against gravity, or chooses to stay still, it only rots and stagnates. Law of gravity is the absolute truth based on which all animate and inanimate objects are grounded and held together. No matter how far objects are tossed, they have to fall down. Similarly, as intelligent species we ought to follow the principles of Dharma and Truth so that we remain grounded without any kind of power/ego/pride getting into our heads. Appaji is teaching us in so many simple ways, yet we are so complacent to change our ways. Please Appaji, be a little more compassionate towards us so that we leran what you want us to learn and become better individuals. Jaya Guru Datta!!

Puttuji according to me today’s MMS  is more or less connected with the MMS 102 wherein Appaji has stated that Dharmic Truth are subtle and sensitive. Therefore Appaji is  here again reminding us that we should follow dharmic path which lead us to truthful life. In other words where ever truth is there, dharma is also there. The music is very apt to the MSG. This is because Mother Goddess is Supreme in all respects and She always stand for true dharmic principle only. Similarly if we want to follow dharmic principle especially in this Kaliyuga , we have to follow a Sadguru who guide us in the right spiritual path. The truth is always permanent and under any circumstances we should not neglect this principle for which we need the help of a Sadguru. Therefore we are so fortunate to get our Appaji as our Sadguru  Whom we follow in all respects for the development of our sipiritual path which ultimately lead to a truthful dharmic life.    JGD.

Dharma is born from Truth ~ 29 Oct 2012

The Upanishads saw dharma as the universal principle of law, order, harmony, all in all truth. Dharma is not just law, or harmony, it is pure Reality. Anything that helps human beings to reach god is dharma and anything that hinders human being from reaching god is adharma. The purpose of dharma is not only to attain a union of the soul with the supreme reality, it also suggests a code of conduct that is intended to secure both worldly joys and supreme happiness. The practice of dharma gives an experience of peace, joy, strength and tranquility within one’s self and makes life disciplined.

Lord Krishna in kurukshetra talks to Arjuna about dharma. HE explains to Arjuna everything about dharma and the consequences one has to face if dharma is not followed. Finally, Lord Krishna gives him the vishwaroopa darshana and declares that dharma is born from HIM (Lord Krishna). The supreme Lord is Truth, Love and Compassion. To practice and follow these is our dharma. When we stick to dharma, we get closer to the supreme Lord.

Pujya Appaji is dharma personified. Everything that HE does is in the lines of dharma. HE is the protector of dharma. It is our greatest blessing to be in the divine presence of such a dharma murthy. Our dharma is to simply follow HIS instructions and serve HIM with unwavering faith. I humbly beg Pujya Appaji to guide us in following and protecting dharma. “Dharmo Rakshati Rakshitaha”. Jaya Guru Datta!

Dharma is born from Truth ~ 29 Oct 2012

Dharma or righteousness is a way of life. The origin for this must be the Lord Himself, who is considered as ‘Sat’ or ‘Truth’. The supreme Lord wants all of us to become like Him. For that to happen, we should overcome our ego and ignorance! This becomes possible only when we follow a righteous, disciplined, simple life guided by a Sadguru! This Sadguru teaches us Dharma and lays out the path for us. We walk in this path of Dharma to attain the ultimate Truth. I beg Sri Swamiji to lead us, the small rivulets, in this Dharmic way and take us with Him to experience Truth, which is the ocean! Jaya Guru Datta

“Jaya Guru Datta Appaji – In this day and age, it is so hard to fully understand the principles of Dharma and Suksha Dharma, even after rigorous Svadhyaya (Self-Study) of our Scriptures. There is always the imminent Maya – that leads us to belief of ‘I know everything’, which ironically leads us farther away from Truth and Dharma than closer to it.
So the best thing is to honestly, truthfully follow our beloved SadhGuru’s words of wisdom. That is equivalent to Yoga Sadhana of the Highest kind. It leads to self-transformation and self-realization. Pujya Gurudeva – Please give us the steadfastness to follow your teachings and make our Hearts your permanent home. Sri Guru Datta!”

To me the crocodile is the seduction in material world, and the feeling of hostility in this world.

So I try to focuss on friendship, love, fair play, confidence and good will. I try to keep good company,
people who like and protect me.

Every day I examine my bad thoughts, the crocodile within myself, I speak with him and say
“Don`t be too hungry, I submit, I have gone too far into Samsara, I regret, and now I want to move back.” But can I? Only when I surrender thoroughly. And that is a great penance to me, surrender to
everything, may it be as it is … I try to let loose … then it makes “click”, but very often … not …

That`s a big task. Surrender and let everything flow, no restraint, our great master helps.

    Namaste
