With a pure heart Guru should always be worshiped. The aim is not easy and does not happen overnight. It is practice with daily discipline.First, Guru should be constantly/daily worshiped and it is not an option, it is a must to humbly express our gratitude for what Guru does for us. The more years go by in association with Appaji more I realize that it is way beyond my comprehension what Appaji does for upliftment of each soul.I remain in aww ….. We cannot thank him! Second the heart should be pure and this will gradually follow when we practice Appaji’s teachings.

Thank You for the message, Puttuji. Lord Shiva says in the Guru Gita to think of no one else but the Guru. It is only by the grace of the Guru that a being can attain liberation. Just as a lover always thinks of her loved one, the Guru Gita says that devotees should always think of the Guru. We should think of the Guru and offer prostrations in the direction of his location.
