  1. {Silence: Quiet, Stillness, Calm, Noiseless} {Meditation: Contemplation}

Quiet video, communicates loud & clear.

Much speech is noise for the ears. Much thought is noise for the mind. Even small sounds can disturb the mind. Quietening the mind means calming it down.. like the stillness in that flame. Silence. Meditation.

And don’t mistake that silent calm for weakness. Hanuman’s power came from His silence. He chose his words. Brevity was his virtue. Speech is the number one energy drain for the body. Thought is the number one energy drain for the mind. Silence conserves energy. It’s the smartest way to re-energize

    Pranams Aumkararupa Sathgurudeva !

Your glorious achievements illustrate the power of silence. We’re your Hanumans. We’ll practice silence as part of our daily routine. We’ll utilize that new found rigour in accomplishing much more at home & at work. Such accomplishment we’ll dedicate in service of your mission. Jaya Guru Datta, Your Puttuji

In the previous MMS Puttuji explained us the power of meditation and what to meditate upon. Todays quite MMS clearly teaches “Silence is Mediation”. Meditation made easy with three Divine MMS and we will practice following our Nada Brahma Sadgurudeva !! Sri Guru Datta !!

In my head are so much ideas, plans, thinking and so on. Now I have a little break and try to rest a little bit. But my head go on. This video helped me in a short time to quickli go in silence, so that I can regenerate and be more quiet for the rest of the day. When we don’t have time to sit down for a meditation it is possible, to do an “instant”-meditation. It gives new power and a good relation to the inner, to the inner voice, the inner feeling and so we make even with stress not too much mistakes.

Jaya Guru Datta! This video is supremely meditative and inspiring. Our Satguru radiates peace in His meditative state image. The music is also extremely conducive to meditative state. Appaji once told us silence of the mind is best since it brings both power and peace. i pray Appaji to bless us all with such silence. Koti Pranams and Love.

Jaya Guru Datta, Swamiji! I love the image of the person meditating and the energy moving out in all directions from Swamiji resting in the heart region. You have told us in past messages to share our joy…what better way than to sit silently in bliss merged in your presence in our heart. Studies show that when people meditate in an area, there is less crime….the community is less agitated….Om Shanti, Shanti, Shanti….

Jai Guru Datta! This is my favorite!!! I experienced the benefit of silence: outer silence, not-talking-silence, inner silence. Until one day there will be silence only. No mind anymore. Simply being. May Sadgurudeva’s grace be with all of us to reach the state of SILENCE. Silent pranams to Your holy feet

    • Madhavi on November 26, 2012 at 9:58 am

Oh, how beautiful and peaceful this MMS is! At once, I feel like sitting in meditation and concentring silently on Sadguru and His Divine Light and Radiance. Already watching this video is an experience of Bliss. I confess that my efforts and discipline for practice are still very deficient. I am not yet able to integrate it regularly into my busy daily life. I feel ashamed about it, dear Appaji, when I think of all what You are doing for us. Please pardon me. I know exactly that I am myself the great looser! This MMs motivates me strongly! I will train my discipline and improve day after day. Then I will feel the benefit of it in my life and I will not be able to stop any more. May this day come very soon ! Thank you so much for this lesson, beloved Sadguru! Sri Guru Datta

    Jaya Guru Datta,
to find silence in the modern world is difficult. Its a noisy world out there and sometimes it is also very noisy in my mind. Silence is such a great source to keep balanced. I try to meditate every morning. Even it is just for a few minutes it is very precious. I can connect to Swamiji and start the day after prayers. Not only a shower and a coffee to start the day – this little “extra” helps to keep the mind focused. Thank you Swamiji to be in my life. Pranams
    Sri Guru Datta

The best moments of meditation is silence. That is not always easy. That depends on the circumstances where it is peaceful and harmony in the air. For me where Swami Ji is you come to peace and automasticaly you come in meditation.

“Jai Guru Datta Appaji! This MMS is extraordinary… much has been conveyed in just a few words with soothing music!

As shown in the last part of the MMS, we have three bodies – Physical (Sthoola-Gross), Mental (Sookshma-Subtle), Spiritual (Adhyatma-Soul). Meditation helps us journey inwards by calming our Physical and Subtle Bodies (Body-Mind) and thereby as a uninhibited Soul, we resonate with the frequency of SadhGuru and experience the Sat-Chit-Ananda state.

We have been blessed to have this experience during your Healing Bhajan sessions – which automagically calm our senses and minds. With your Grace, we’ll surely quiesce our minds and increase the gap between two consecutive thoughts to experience Your Glory in the true Form. Sri Guru Datta!”

  3. JGD. A magical moment occurred when I replayed this MMS with my eyes closed. The flickering light swayed in my minds eye and the advancing aura emanating from Sri Swamiji seemed to enfold me within its grasp. Appaji’s voice gently broke the silence making me aware that Silence truly is meditation. My Pranams over and over to my Lord, Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachchidananda.

This video has very effective message in a compact form with vivid presentation, i liked it. True, when there is inner silence it is meditation and vice versa, but practising this is very difficult. May lord bless us to practise silence and experience the Devine energy within us.

Keeping the mouth silent is easy. Keeping the mind silent is difficult . If we practice for very short intervals and do this often , then it becomes a little easier. Please help us control our monkey mind, Sadgurudeva. Om namo Hanumate namaha. Jaya Guru Datta.

We’ve all often heard the term “silence is golden”, but the only way to understand the meaning of this phrase is to experience it. We fast during Ekadashi, but the goal is not just to starve the body, it’s to silence the mind and the indriyas. Such an Ekadashi will be very fulfilling. When I learned that meditation was stillness, the silencing of all thoughts, I also learned that it was not easy. The mind is a relentless monkey, and it has its army of thoughts, indriyas, desires to attack the intellect/buddhi. But, when we silence them all, the peace and equipoise we attain, albeit for a split second is unparalleled. Truly, such silence of the mind is meditation. And the greatest aid in silencing our mind is Sri Swamiji’s music. Sri Swamiji, even through all the activities He does, is an unending fountain of silence. May we immerse ourselves in His Holy feet and dissolve our mind and intellect in His silence.

  4. Jaya Guru Datta Appaji..Om Namo Hanumathe Namaha..Sri Antarmukhasthitaye Namaha..

  5. Jaya Guru Datta..Om Namo Hanumathe Namaha..Sri Antarmukhasthitaye Namaha..

  6. JGD.Silence by mind is meditation,as denoted by Our APPJI .Silence is the powerfulness of the saadaka.Meditation is the awakeful status of the Aatman. This facilitates inner look of the soul, gives way for introspection, ultimately makes one to realise the reality.SGD

What a beautiful, soothing MMS, Appaji has given today as 180th. The photography is very apt to the MSG as Lord Hanuman meditate silently  and inside chant the powerful divine mantra Ram…Ram like that. In every action before He starts, first meditate an d chant  the divine mantra Ram. We can notice this when we see the video Shata sloki Ramayana. Regarding the music Appaji has put only simply the tune from the Suruti box. Here Appaji is proving that this Nada will help to be silent and lead to meditation. Here I even remember, Appaji’s words saying that the easiest way to practice silence and then to meditate is by listening to a Nada from a Suruti box. Further when we enter the Ashrama the first lesson, Appaji is giving us to maintain silence in the prayer hall and not to talk like a chatter box. According to me this will really help us to control our mind and get concentration. Appaji now You have reminded us through this beautiful MSG, not to waste our energy by  unwanted talks and not to drain out the energy from our mind by unnecessary thoughts. Appaji we see in you the power of silence and we also practice the same through your teachings and keep this as a part of our daily routine duty for the development in the spiritual path.   JGD.

    Silence is meditation ~ 26 Nov 2012

Silence is very powerful. When we silence our minds, we are receptive to universal energy. Introspection is best possible when the mind and tongue are silenced. Listening to our breath in silence is meditative. It makes us feel one with the Supreme Being. It calms us completely and rejuvenates every atom in the being. We must all practice silence everyday at least for few minutes and recharge ourselves. The Shruti in the video makes us so calm and silence automatically sets in. Let us all meditate everyday under the guidance of Sri Swamiji. Jaya Guru Datta!
