  1. {Ucchista Ganapathy: Bestows harmony and joy}
    Electricity flows from higher to lower potential. Water flows from higher to lower level.
    Guru is the storehouse of Spiritual knowledge. If that knowledge has to flow from the Guru, the recipient has to be looking up to it. He has to yearn for it with his hands raised up to the Guru in all humility.
    Guru is an Ocean of Mercy. One has to empty his cup & be thirsty. That thirst attracts the Ocean of Mercy to flow into the cup, until it starts to overflow. Again, the flow resumes only after the cup is emptied.
    Saashtanga Namaskarams at your Holy Feet, Sathgurudeva!
    Give us the humility to keep our cups empty. Let’s never fall into the trap of feeling we know it all. For, true knowledge is knowledge of our own higher nature. Please be the Ucchista Ganapathy in our heart, filling it with the higher, spiritual knowledge. In that feeling of harmony & joy we will find our fulfilment.
    Jaya Guru Datta! Your Puttuji

    Jaya Guru Datta. I was alone in our apartment with my then baby daughter when I called out to Lord Shiva. I didn’t even know that God is real and I still don’t truly understand how any of this is possible. Thank you Mother Swamiji for answering my call. I am your slave and my love for you is indescribable. I love you, I love you, I love you. Prostrations to our beloved Satguru who is Lord Shiva and Mother Goddess and in fact everything and being comprehension of this human mind. Om Namah Shivaya. Sri Guru Datta.

    Jaya Guru Datta! Unquestionably, the biggest blessing in anyone’s life is the Sathguru. I have read about many devotees who thirsted for a Guru before they found Sri Swamiji. I am eternally grateful to my parents whose spiritual yearnings made it possible for us to have Sri Swamiji as our Sathguru. I see some changes in my own thinking in the last several years, changes I didn’t think I would ever undergo. I was driven a lot by my career but that seems to be changing slowly. I know for a fact that Swamiji has been giving me lessons based on my own experiences. He’s teaching me to keep the mind clean so I absorb those lessons. I hope that with Sri Swamiji’s grace, I can always nurture a thirst for spiritual growth. I hope that my thirst for spiritual knowledge can help me break from all the shackles of ego and attachment. Obeisances at the Holy Lotus Feet!

    Jaya Guru Datta! Appaji, please bless me that I attain a good balance between longing for spiritual knowledge by learning it theoretically (e.g. in Your books) and by practising it (e.g. through meditation and seva). Sri Guru Datta! Om namo hanumate namah!

    • Venkat on March 17, 2013 at 8:40 pm

    Jaya Guru Datta Appaji – the thirst for knowledge makes the aspirant seek the Sadguru first. The thirst of the seeker showing up will attract the Guru. Once the relationship is approved by the Sadguru, the spiritual journey starts with an intended end consequence of making the self realized. The most important, basic and needed foundational ingradient is the intensity of the thirst and quet for knowledge – aka gnaana trushna. Appaji has spoken about this entire process in the Guru Gita discourse

    • Anjana on March 17, 2013 at 9:26 pm

    JGD. GURUDEV PADALAKU SATAKOTI NAMASKARAMULU. WITHOUT GURU’S GRACE NOTHING POSSIBLE, SO ALWAYS IN EVERY BREATH ONE SHOULD ALWAYS PRAY GURU DEVA PLEASE BLESS US WITH THE KNOWLEDGE, BECAUSE KNOWLEDGE IS THE ONLY THING WHICH IS PERMANENT! AND ALL THE REMAINING THINGS ARE NOT PERMANENT, AT THE SAMETIME , WE SHOULD PRAY SADGURU ONLY FOR KNOWLEDGE AND NOTHING ELSE, OR ELSE THE VERY PURPOSE OF GOING TO GURU WILL BE DEFEATED.

    By looking in to this MMS, we should realize the importance of a Sadguru to develop our spiritual path especially in this Kaliyuga . Further if you go deep in to this MSG, how a teacher is building up the carrier of a student, similarly we need aSadguru in our life to develop our spiritual path till our life. This is because to acquire the spiritual knowledge there is no end and there is no limit also. In this Kaliyuga , people are more interested in worldly pleasures and unwanted desires. But remember that it is not going to be permanent At the sametime in a latter date they think about the spiritual path and will be thirsty to acquire the same . But it is too late and may not be able to succeed . Therefore from this MSG it is a lesson for us that we should follow the spiritual path from our young age itself and show our eagerness to develop the same through our Sadguru . In such circumstances the Guru will also be happy and will be attracted on us to acquire such knowledge. Thank You , Appaji to remind us timely and please always recharge our spiritual knowledge through Your words and teachings and accordingly we follow You. The photography and the music are apt to the MSG. JGD.

    I am not sure I had any spiritual thirst when I first experienced Sri Swamiji in this life. Maybe due to the punya from past births, He blessed me. I only pray for His company in all my future births too and to be in selfless seva always..He knows what knowledge to bestow and when to..I just want to be with Him.

    Good teacher is in search of real good, obedient student, similarly spiritual GURU is also in search of true, dedicated students. May lord bless us all to be seekers of spirituality and earn true GURU who can always guide us in right path.
