A concert with Ragas specified for Information Technology professionals was held in Bangalore on 6th June 2009 at Jnana Bharati Auditorium in Central Collage campus. The name of the Concert was “Karyasiddhi Raga Sagara”.
The audience was filled with IT professionals. Karnataka Government Chief Secretary, Sri. Sudhakara Rao inaugurated the concert by lighting the lamp.
Pujya Sri Swamiji in his inaugural address, said the Information Technology industry has its own share of physiological and psychological stress. Music is a good way to de stress. Yoga and Meditation too help – opined Sri Swamiji.
In the concert, Sri Swamiji played the Ragas “Rushyaketu Priya (Bhajan Pranava Svarupam), Raga Kama Vardhini (Bhajan – Suvarchalamba Prana Deva) was sung, Karyasiddhi Raga Sagara (Ragas – Hemavati, Lalita, Vanaspati), Raga Shankarabharana (Dancing tune) and Raga Sama (Raga Ragini Mangala)
Sri Swamiji was accompanied by Vid. Jaitra Varanasi on violin, Vid T.S.Murthy on Violin, Vid. Mani on Keyboards, Vid. Shankar Ramesh on Mridanga, Vid. Mahesh Bhat on Tabala and Vid. Ramanuja on Morsing.
