Addanki, a town in the Prakasam district had a distinction in the history of Datta Peetham. This is a place, which was visited for the first time by Sri Swamiji during its inauguration. A new Guru Nilayam constructed by Sri Nagasuri Hanumat Prasad family was due for its inauguration, at this Ashrama situated at the heart of the town. Another highlight of this tour was the excellent arrangements made by Srinivas and Poornachandra Rao of Hubli for Nadamaya Raga Sagara (Music Concert for Meditation and Healing).
Rishyaketu Priya, (Mecha) Kalyani, Varam, Nagaswaravali, Shanmukhapriya were the important Raagas for the concert. Thousands of devotees attended with rapt attention. Vijaya Kumar (Mrudangam), Anjaneya Sastry (Ghatam) and Jaitra Varanasi & Gajjala Satish Babu (Violin), Mahesh (Tabla) & Mani (keyboard) accompanied Pujya Sri Swamiji in the concert.
It was a very pleasant experience for the public, who are exposed to such type of music for the first time in their life. Rain God was also very cooperative, by withholding the rain during the entire day. Elsewhere, it was a hide and seek game with Rain.
